​The Prime Minister meets with CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones

(GAFI) to follow up number of files

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, met this evening with Mr. Hossam Heiba, GAFI CEO, to
follow up number of files.

At the outset of the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the government's focus during this stage to
exert efforts to attract investment in many priority sectors of the national economy through serious steps
to overcome all obstacles and promote promising opportunities for investment in Egypt.

For his part, GAFI CEO presented the efforts related to the file of the Golden License, as he confirmed
that this file is receiving great attention at the present time, indicating that a unit has been established in
GAFI that is responsible for the "Golden License", and there is continuous and accurate follow-up of the
steps to issue the License to everyone who applied to obtain it manually or electronically.

Mr. Hossam Heiba added that coordination is conducted with the Head of the Industrial Development
Authority (IDA) in order to promote the industries where efforts are exerted for its localization in Egypt.
He pointed out that studies have been prepared in this regard, and GAFI endeavors to take the necessary
measures and provide vast facilities for those wishing to implement targeted industrial projects.

GAFI CEO also discussed the efforts to update the investment map, referring to the coordination that
is taking place with the relevant ministries to promote various investment opportunities in the Egyptian
market, so that this map will be a wide-spread window to display promising opportunities in various
sectors, and coordination is also taking place to present opportunities in the business sector as well the
private sector.

Heiba confirmed that several meetings were held with a number of investors in various sectors,
including the automotive industry, and others, aiming to attract investments, and provide the needs of the
local market and export.
