GAFI Announces Benha ISC Pilot Launch

​Dr. Mohamed Farid:

- Expanding the network of ISCs facilitates procedures and improves the business environment.
- Benha ISC is set to serve more than 28,000 companies across the governorates of Qalyubia, Gharbia, and Menoufia.

As part of the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT), led by Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), headed by Dr. Mohamed Awad, to enhance the investor services ecosystem, streamline procedures, and expand service delivery closer to centers of economic activity, thereby improving the investment climate, the pilot launch of Benha Investor Services Center (ISC) will take place on Tuesday, 4 August 2026.
Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, MIFT Minister, stated that expanding the network of ISCs forms part of MIFT’s vision to modernize the investor services framework, facilitate company incorporation and operations, and bring services closer to investors across all governorates, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the business environment and strengthening the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy.
Dr. Farid Saleh added that MIFT is developing a more efficient and flexible service delivery model based on simplifying procedures, reducing time and costs, and leveraging digital transformation to ensure the provision of investment services that meet investors' needs and meet the evolving needs of economic activity.
Located within Benha Investment Zone at the end of Benha Free Road, Benha ISC serves as a fully integrated hub for delivering investment services and handling investment procedures efficiently and promptly, providing a smoother and more effective customer experience.
It is expected to serve more than 28,000 companies across the governorates of Qalyubia, Gharbia, and Menoufia. It also offers a Fast Track (VIP) service available to investors from all governorates, thereby reducing the time, effort, and costs associated with completing investment-related procedures.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Awad, Chief Executive Officer of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI CEO), affirmed that the launch of Benha ISC marks another milestone in GAFI's strategy to expand access to investment services closer to centers of economic activity. He noted that Benha ISC aims to facilitate investors' access to services and expedite procedures through an integrated service system that reduces time, effort, and costs while enhancing the overall investor experience.
The launch of Benha ISC comes as part of the continued expansion of GAFI's ISC network, reinforcing the efficiency of government services, enhancing investor satisfaction, and underscoring the commitment of MIFT and GAFI to providing a modern investment environment that supports economic growth and promotes both domestic and foreign investment.
